My name is Ivy Bonds and I am a 16-year-old equestrian from Aiken, South Carolina. For over 8 years, riding has been an integral part of my life. Originally from Oklahoma, I have trained with a variety of professionals ultimately moving to South Carolina to ride with Catherine Cram at Highfields LLC.
I am fortunate to compete in the equitation and hunters with my 8 year old equitation horse, Super Vision. Originally a jumper, we began our equitation career in the fall of 2023 together. Some of our most notable accomplishments include finishing 4th at NCEA Medal Finals East receiving the highest score on the flat with a 91. Additionally, I finished 7th at Jump Seat Medal Finals East out of 175 with an overall score of 383.975 as well as finished in the Top 24 at NHS Hamel Medal Finals, my first time attending.
Outside of the show ring, I enjoy watching other people ride as I always believe there is something to learn from others. When I can, I love the opportunity to ride other horses and challenge myself on new mounts.
I take my academic pursuits seriously and maintain a 3.9 unweighted GPA and 4.55 weighted GPA. I am an active member of Beta and Interact Club.
I aim to blend my love for horses and competing at a high level with my academic goals, hoping to ride for a Division I college team. I believe my strengths in and out of the saddle will prove to be valuable to any collegiate team I pursue.
